The My-T Fine Guardian Program

Honoring our purpose.
      Celebrating our families.
            Enriching every dog’s life.

At My-t Fine Doodles & Poodles, we believe every dog deserves more than a home—they deserve a family, a soft place to land, and a life built in love from the very beginning.
Our Guardian Program exists to honor that belief.

By placing select puppies or young dogs into approved Guardian Homes, we ensure that each future sire & dam in our program grows up in their own forever home, receiving the daily connection, stability, and affection that simply cannot be replicated in a kennel environment.
This partnership allows us to continue our mission with integrity—raising exceptional, health-tested, purpose-bred dogs—while enriching the lives of the families who welcome them.

Guardian Program

Our guardian families receive either a puppy or an approved adult at no cost.

They becomes your dog—your companion, your adventure partner, your family member.

You provide the loving home; we retain breeding rights for the duration of their contract 3-5yrs.

Your guardian dog will:

  • Live with you full-time

  • Become part of your family

  • Receive all the socialization, affection & enrichment of daily home life

  • Join our program only after passing required health testing

  • Return home to you after short breeding appointments (Stud dogs)

  • Retire into your ownership permanently once their breeding career is complete

Guardian Family Responsibilities

Because our guardian dogs represent the future of our lines, we seek families who share our commitment to exceptional care.

Guardian families agree to:

  • Provide a stable, loving home

  • Own their home and maintain a secure fenced yard (some exceptions apply)

  • Avoid dog parks, dog daycares, and off-leash areas that may expose the dog to unnecessary risks

  • Use a mutually approved veterinarian

  • Carry pet insurance throughout their contract

  • Maintain an approved diet, grooming schedule, and routine wellness care

  • Cover all normal costs of dog ownership (food, vet care, grooming, training, insurance)

  • Communicate openly with us about health, temperament, or changes in behavior

  • Have dog available for breeding appointments when requested

All expectations and responsibilities are clearly outlined in a written contract for full transparency.

When he enters the Breeding Program

Each guardian male undergoes OFA/health testing once he is mature enough.
After passing evaluations, he is officially added to our breeding program.

  • Most males begin siring litters 9-12 months old, depending on maturity

  • Breedings typically require him to be with us for only a few hours

  • He returns home immediately after each appointment

  • His breeding career generally spans 3–5 years, depending on health, temperament, and needs within our program

At the end of his guardian journey, he is neutered and fully retired into your family for life.
